Nation’s leaders pay tribute to founding father Ho Chi Minh

Hanoi. Party and State leaders paid tribute on Friday to the late President Ho Chi Minh before his 112th birthday, which was scheduled to be celebrated around Viet Nam and the world on Sunday.

Wreaths laid at Uncle Ho’s mausoleum by the Party Central Committee, National Assembly, president, Government and Fatherland Front Central Committee (VFFCC) honoured the great leader with the words, Eternally grateful to Great President Ho Chi Minh.

Party General Secretary Nong Duc Manh, State President Tran Duc Luong, Prime Minister Phan Van Khai, NA Chairman Nguyen Van An, VFFCC President Pham The Duyet and other Party, State and Ha Noi officials bowed in deep respect to the memory of the nation’s founder.

As part of the anniversary, the Institute of Ho Chi Minh and the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy held on Friday a seminar entitled President Ho Chi Minh with ideological work.

The National Political Publishing House has published a series of new books commemorating Ho Chi Minh on the anniversary of his birth, which coincides with the 11th National Assembly election on Sunday.
