Vietnam, Cu Chi Area

Cu Chi is a small area situated in the north-west of Ho Chi Minh City. During the war against american aggressors for saving the country, it always had to face and stand the most damaging destruction. The invasive forces of the u.s. army, having been considered as the most powerful in the world, used massive fire power to "burn down and exterminate all", with the aim of changing this gentle and wealthy Cu Chi area into a deserted and lifeless zone. But fortunately, soldiers and civilians of Cu Chi, in such an extremely harsh condition, still had their own ways of FIGHTING, and SUBSISTING, and of SURVIVING, for taking part in the great final victory, the liberation of South Vietnam, and the reunification of the country.

There is a small exhibition about the tunnel complex during the war. Some tunnels have been enlarged, so you can easily visit them. Other tunnels are still very small.
