Duong No is the village where President Ho Chi Minh spent his childhood. Duong No Village now belongs to Phu Duong commune, Phu Vang district, in Thua Thien Hue Province.

In 1898, Nguyen Sinh Huy, Ho’s father, was invited by a Law Ministry official to come to Duong No and teach his children in preparation for provincial examinations.

Young Nguyen Sinh Cung (Ho Chi Minh) began to study Chinese with his father’s pupils. Ho Chi Minh stayed with his father in Duong No until 1900. When Ho's father had to go to Thanh Hoa after being promoted to Provincial Examination, Ho Chi Minh returned to Hue to live with his mother, Hoang Thi Loan.

The house where Ho and his father lived was built facing the southeast. After the country’s reunification in 1975, the local people restored this house according to its former architecture so that it could be used as a reminder of Uncle Ho, demonstrating the high esteem and admiration of the people for this great leader. Nowadays, the house filled with artifacts and pictures.

The village is situated on Hue-Thuan An road, approximately 8 km from Hue.
